We saw a guy base jump into a cave that could swallow the Empire State building, and a cave with 6 foot gypsum crystals, yet the most amazing thing was Erika making it through two sections of the movie.  Thanks Jen for bringing sushi!

Unfortunately this Wednesday movie night is cancelled - will resume next week.

Wednesday night movie, Planet Earth disc one was a good showing, although Adriane and Carter missed the Fresh Water section which was pretty rad.  Of course Erika made it about 38 seconds before falling asleep.
Next showing will be disc 2: Caves, Deserts, Ice Worlds.  I have to say the opening scene to Caves is the coolest thing I've ever seen in a documentary.  I'm starting this at 7:00 Wednesday the 24th since the last one ran a little long.

I have some new 2010climbing photos of Socorro and The Tunnel in New Mexico.

I got my first 5.13a in December - The Demon, although Mike downgraded it to 5.12d.
I got my second 5.13a on Saturday - Cinco Trinta, and Mike didn't even downgrade this.  I think the climbing training books, the isolated gym and dedicated approach to climbing harder, while climbing less, by means of climbing smarter based on a sports physiology approach has worked...

I've had some killer powder days at Taos, but no photos.  Sev and Meagan came down from Portland for some skiing, climbing, boozing and general awesomeness.
